CMAC expert team responded to an emergency call at Tamon Senchey pagoda in Taham Village, Kokmorn Commune, Banteay Ampil District, Oddor Meanchey Province. The team confirmed the sacred site had been bombed by the Thai Air Force using F-16 fighter jets.
On August 2, 2025, Cambodia’s CMAC expert team responded to an emergency call at Tamon Senchey pagoda in Taham Village, Kokmorn Commune, Banteay Ampil District, Oddar Meanchey Province. The team confirmed the sacred site had been bombed by the Thai Air Force using F-16 fighter jets.
Investigators found remains of two MK-82 bombs equipped with GBU-12 Paveway II laser-guided systems. Critically, the serial numbers—22002788 and 22002794—show the bombs were manufactured in January 2023, eliminating any possibility that the strike was a remnant from the 1970–73 conflict period.
This concrete evidence directly exposes Thailand’s current military aggression and counters any misinformation attempting to discredit Cambodia. It is a clear act of violation on peaceful Cambodian soil, and we urge international observers not to be misled by false narratives.
